On September 8, information from Lien Hiep Commune Police (Tuyen Quang), functional forces promptly found and brought Mrs. Ly Thi Dien (born in 1946, residing in Phieng Phay village) back to her family safely.
Previously, at about 8:30 pm on September 7, Lien Hiep Commune Police received a report from the family about Ms. Dien leaving the house from about 1 pm but not returning.
Immediately after that, functional forces divided into many search teams overnight.
On the morning of September 8, the search force discovered Ms. Dien in the forest area, more than 2km from her house, in the direction near Na Tang hamlet, Trung Ha commune.
The old woman was then supported to return home safely. Through examination, her health was stable and communication was normal.
Lien Hiep Commune Police recommends that families regularly pay attention to and monitor the elderly, especially those who show signs of memory decline.
When discovering relatives leaving home for a long time, it is necessary to quickly notify the local authorities and the police force for timely search assistance.
