Khanh Hoa - After nearly a day of searching in bad weather conditions, the rescue team found the body of a man missing while fishing on the river.

On November 28, information from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 3 (under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) said that they had found the missing victim while fishing on the river in Van Ninh commune.

Previously, at around 8:30 p.m. on November 27, the unit received a report from Van Ninh Commune Police about a person missing in the railway bridge area across the Hien Luong River while fishing.

On the night of November 27, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 3 mobilized 8 officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to the area where the incident occurred to organize the search.

However, the rainy weather and strong water flow made the search difficult.

At nearly 0:00 on November 28, the working group was forced to temporarily stop and recall the vehicle to ensure the safety of the force.

On the morning of November 28, rescue forces continued to return to the scene to conduct an expanded search around the foot of the railway bridge and along the river.

At nearly 10:00 a.m. on November 28, the working group found the victim. The identity was identified as Mr. Truong Q. (born in 1977, residing in Hien Luong village, Van Ninh commune).

After completing the necessary procedures, the authorities handed over Mr. Q.'s body to his family for funeral arrangements.
