On the afternoon of December 12, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the People's Committee of Hoa Kien commune (Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen) said that the authorities had found the body of the missing victim in the overturned tractor accident, after 1 day of searching.

"At nearly 1 p.m. the same day, the authorities found the victim's body about 300 meters from the location where the tractor overturned. The authorities are currently completing the procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements," he said.
As reported, at around 1:15 p.m. on December 11, while traveling from the acacia garden, a tractor pulling a trailer carrying 10 workers suddenly overturned while crossing a stream, causing one to be swept away and missing. The remaining people were lucky to escape.
The victim was identified as Nguyen Van Qui (36 years old, residing in Hoa Quang Bac commune, Phu Hoa district).
Mr. Nguyen Sang (54 years old, Qui's father) - the lucky person who escaped the tractor overturning incident recounted: "When the tractor trailer was swept away by the water, the father and son were swept away by the water into a nearby bamboo bush. I tried to hold on to the bamboo bush and was then pulled up by everyone, but Qui, because his right hand was disabled, could only hold on with one hand, could not hold on and was swept away."
It is known that Mr. Qui's family situation is very difficult, Mr. Qui alone has to work for hire to support the whole family. Mr. Qui's wife - Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen (30 years old) has a mental problem, 2 young children are of school age, the whole family of 4 people live under a dilapidated, cramped roof.
