As Lao Dong newspaper reported, the fishing boat capsizing incident occurred on the evening of August 25 in the Tan Thai spillway area, bordering Dong Hy commune, Van Han commune, Linh Son ward (Thai Nguyen), causing 3 people to go missing.
The victims include: Duong Van B. (born 1990), Duong Tien V. (born 2003) and Dang Ba L. (born 1983), all residing in Linh Son ward.
According to functional forces, Mr. Dang Ba L.'s body has been found so far.
Mr. Tran Dai Cuong - Team Leader of Ghenh Che Rescue Team (Thai Nguyen province) said that the team had just returned from the flood area of Lang Son and immediately supported the search in the Tan Thai dam area.
At nearly 10 am this morning, the first body was discovered. The location found is about 50 meters from the area where the boat crashed. Rainy conditions, fast river flow caused many difficulties," Mr. Dai said.
Currently, forces are still continuing to deploy the search for the remaining 2 missing victims.
