On the afternoon of August 10, functional agencies of Quang Tri province are investigating and clarifying the case of discovering the body of a man on the Hieu River.
According to Hieu Giang Commune People's Committee, the victim is Mr. T.A. T (born in 1974, residing in Song Hieu residential group, Nam Dong Ha ward, Quang Tri province).
Mr. T.A. T left home at about 3:30 pm on August 9 and did not return.
By noon on August 10, during the search, family members discovered a pair of sandals and a hat left by Mr. T.A. T on the riverbank, near the head of the Hieu River bridge, in Hieu Giang commune.
Upon receiving the information, the local force of the commune coordinated with people to organize searches in the Hieu River area.
By nearly 4 pm on the same day, the search force discovered and brought the body of Mr. T.A. T ashore.
Currently, functional agencies are continuing to verify and investigate to clarify the cause of the incident.
It is known that before the incident, Mr. T.A. T was often sick and had had accidents.
