On the morning of September 16, functional forces and people found and brought the body of crew member N.D. X (born 1991) ashore after a day of missing in the LĐ 97007TS fishing boat capsizing near Phu Quy island.
Mr. X is a crew member on the fishing boat that encountered an accident in the Bai Phu area, Trieu Duong village, about 1 nautical mile from Phu Quy island. At the time the boat capsized, Mr. X was trapped inside and went missing.
Previously, at about 5:40 am on September 15, people reported the incident. Fishing vessel LĐ 97007TS with a capacity of 650CV, 22m long, engaged in angling. The vessel is captained by Mr. Ngo Van Thang (born 1991, residing in Phu Quy Special Zone), with 10 workers on board.
After returning from seafood exploitation and anchoring in the Bai Phu area, the fishing boat suddenly tilted and capsized. The incident caused Mr. X to go missing.
Immediately after that, Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station and forces deployed to search for missing people, and at the same time organized the rescue of the distressed ship.
By the morning of September 16, Mr. X's body was found and brought ashore. Functional forces are handling related procedures.
