Cau Giay Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) has just announced the progress of land acquisition and site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project, the section from Cau Giay Street to Dich Vong New Urban Area and the section from Dich Vong New Urban Area to Duong Dinh Nghe Street.
The section from Cau Giay street to Dich Vong New Urban Area is 420m long with a land area to be cleared of 21,459.7m2 (land acquisition from 329 households and 9 organizations with a total of 338 compensation and support plans).
The section from Dich Vong - Duong Dinh Nghe New Urban Area has a length of 710m with a total land area to be cleared of about 30,520m2 (land is recovered from 123 organizations, households, individuals and 359 graves must be relocated).
Up to now, site clearance work in the ward has achieved many positive results.
The section from Cau Giay street - Dich Vong New Urban Area basically completed site clearance, approved, and received and handed over 337/338 sites, reaching a rate of 99.7% of the volume.
The section from Dich Vong - Duong Dinh Nghe New Urban Area is implemented according to the Emergency Construction Order of the Hanoi City People's Committee.
The ward has mobilized the entire political system to participate; drastically and synchronously implemented many solutions to implement with the motto "going to each alley, knocking on each house"; "working without days off, without office hours".
In 3 months from the date of the urgent order, along with the sharing of families with graves in need of relocation and the companionship, listening to all opinions and aspirations of the people and promptly having solutions to remove obstacles, Cau Giay ward has completed the entire relocation of 359 graves (completed 7 days before the City Party Committee's direction); completed and handed over 24,656m2 of land (about 81% of the area to be cleared of the project) to the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (the investor) to deploy commencement and construction.
Currently, there is still 19% of the volume to be implemented (about 123 plans with an area of 5,864m2 of land), the ward has completed all investigation and measurement work, and is urgently implementing site clearance steps according to regulations.
The Party Committee and government of Cau Giay ward continue to focus on directing and implementing the removal of difficulties and obstacles, determined to complete the project site clearance work in accordance with the direction of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee, ensuring legitimate rights and interests and the consensus of the people.
