On June 23, Xuan Huong ward (Da Lat city, Lam Dong) was put into trial operation, handling administrative procedures to serve people and businesses before officially operating from July 1.
After 7am, people have arrived at the new headquarters to handle administrative procedures without being much confused by the change of headquarters and new wards when merging from wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10 of Da Lat City.
At the Public Administration Center, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward has arranged 12 stalls with full equipment and machinery for trial operation, including the areas currently operated by vertical sectors such as police, land registration offices, tax, etc.
Previously, the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Da Lat City directed agencies and units to hand over documents from old units to new units.
The People's Committees of wards and functional departments of Da Lat City worked continuously, moving documents and equipment to the new headquarters during the weekend, ensuring that it did not affect the settlement of administrative procedures when merging.
According to the work arrangement, all forces performing tasks at the One-stop Department of the Da Lat City People's Committee will go to Xuan Huong Ward to guide and assign tasks from June 23 to 30 to the new cadres and civil servants of the ward. Therefore, all documents under the authority of the People's Committee of Da Lat City that are still unfinished are being resolved in Xuan Huong Ward.
During the pilot period, working groups of Lam Dong province will regularly monitor, guide, and dismantle arising difficulties and problems.
According to records, on the first day of the experimental activities, the work of handling administrative procedures at the Public Administration Service Center operated smoothly and orderly.
All fields have assigned staff to guide people, so no one is confused or has difficulty in handling work.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - a person who came to handle administrative procedures in Xuan Huong ward - said that the new ward headquarters is spacious and airy, and the work of welcoming people is carefully carried out by the ward ministries.
In addition to the guidance boards and loudspeakers, Mr. Hung was also enthusiastically guided by the administrative procedure handling staff, the work was handled quickly, making him very satisfied.
Mr. Tran Duc Nam - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Da Lat City - said that Xuan Huong Ward will focus on the main pillars when operating the trial.
The pillars include organizing the activities of the Party bloc, meeting the Party Executive Committee of the ward, People's Council at the ward level, and handling administrative procedures directly and online.
In addition to Xuan Huong ward of Da Lat city, this time, Lam Dong province is also conducting a trial operation of Duc Trong commune (Lam Dong), Phu Thuy ward and Ham Thuan commune (currently Binh Thuan province), Nam Gia Nghia ward and Kien Duc commune (current Dak Nong province).
According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the direct trial operation of 6 commune-level administrative units aims to visibly assess and draw general experience.
This helps assess difficulties and problems in organization and operation, ensuring reasonableness for 124 new commune-level administrative units from July 1.
According to the Resolution on administrative unit arrangement, Lam Dong province will have 124 commune-level administrative units, including 103 communes, 20 wards and 1 special zone. This province will become the province with the largest area in the country with 24,233 km2.
Of these, 99 communes, 20 wards and 1 special zone will be formed after the arrangement and renaming. There are 4 communes that do not implement the arrangement, including Quang Hoa, Quang Son, Quang Truc and Ninh Gia.
