On the morning of June 23, General Secretary To Lam worked with the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF) and central organizations.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations and the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee of the Party Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented a report on the results of leadership in implementing political tasks and Party building work in the past; key tasks in the coming time.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations were established under Decision No. 245-QD/TW, dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo, with the function of comprehensively leading the implementation of political tasks and Party building work of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State.
Currently, the Party Committee has 25 affiliated Party organizations, including 3 grassroots Party Committees, 14 grassroots Party Committees and 8 grassroots Party cells with 5,146 Party members. Most cadres and party members in the Party Committee are trained in basic skills, have qualifications, have strong political will, and absolutely believe in the leadership of the Party and the State. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has 397 members, the Presidium has 64 members, the Standing Committee has 3 full-time comrades and 6 non-professional comrades.
Regarding the results of leading the implementation of 6 key work programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and People's Associations, Chairman Do Van Chien said that in recent times, the Party Committee has led the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, mass organizations to closely follow the policies of the Party and State, synchronously implementing 6 programs, achieving very encouraging results.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations have closely followed the direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam; synchronously deployed tasks, with high focus and key points, with high political determination; ensured solidarity, unity and consensus; properly implemented the principles of organizing party activities; initially innovated the content of leadership methods and styles. Basically completing assigned political tasks; Through practice proving that the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations is a correct and wise policy of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the General Secretary.
The Party Committee not only leads well the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations but also contributes significantly to the leadership and implementation of the Party's mass mobilization work, affirming its core political role in mass mobilization, consolidating the great national unity bloc and enhancing the people's trust in the Party and the State.
Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, comrade Do Van Chien said that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations will continue to lead the operation of the new organization to operate effectively, while continuing to review and streamline the apparatus of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State according to the roadmap; perfecting regulations and regulations to ensure smooth, effective and efficient operations at all three levels.
Strengthen the gathering and mobilization of all classes of people, ethnic groups, religions, overseas Vietnamese, members, union members, businessmen, enterprises, etc., to promote the strong tradition of the great national unity bloc; unanimously and jointly effectively implement major campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the completion of socio-economic development plan targets, ensuring national security and defense in 2025 and the 2026-2031 period.
Along with that, continue to lead to prepare and organize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations for the 2026-2031 term. Closely coordinate with the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees to direct the Congresses of Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, socio-political organizations and mass organizations at all levels after the restructuring of the apparatus.
Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations proactively and actively participate in preparing for Party Congresses at all levels, the 14th National Congress of the Party and the election of the 16th National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; coordinate to improve the quality of meetings with voters; contribute to firmly strengthening the bridge between the Party, State and People.
Continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, implement democracy, actively participate in building the Party, State and political system. The focus is on supervising the implementation of mechanisms, policies, and the organization of activities of state agencies according to the 2-level local government model; supervising the implementation of the "4 pillar Resolutions" recently issued by the Politburo.
Lead the development of the National Great Unity Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045; develop and sign a Resolution on coordination with the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and relevant agencies; Implement the Project on Training of Vietnam Fatherland Front Cadres at all levels for the period 2026-2031 (according to the new organizational model); Project on digital transformation in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations.
Regarding Party building work, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations focus on comprehensively leading and directing the work of Party building in terms of ideology, politics and ethics; organizing inspections and mass mobilization, focusing on implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Successfully organized the Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2025 - 2030 term.
In 2026, a Project will be developed to issue a thematic Resolution on: Improving the quality of Party cell activities; Innovation of content and methods of operation, closely following reality, being close to the people, closely serving the people - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien informed.
