According to the announcement of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Ho Chi Minh City Police, the traffic adjustment is to ensure order and safety during the fireworks display to celebrate the Liberation of the South and national reunification.
In Binh Duong ward (from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM), vehicles are prohibited from circulating on the following routes:
- Hung Vuong Street (from Truong Sa to Le Loi).
- Huynh Thuc Khang Street (from Truong Sa to Le Loi).
The fireworks display area is located in the new city center, people are advised to proactively choose a suitable route, move through adjacent roads parallel to the isolated area, and divert traffic to avoid congestion.
In Ba Ria ward (from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM), vehicles are prohibited from circulating on the following routes:
- Nam Quoc Cang Street (from Bui Lam to Dien Bien Phu).
- Dien Bien Phu Street (from Nam Quoc Cang to Nguyen Thi Dinh).
- Nguyen Thi Dinh Street (from Dien Bien Phu to the gate of the Border Guard School).
- Pham Van Dong Street (car restriction from Nguyen Van Linh to Dien Bien Phu).
Alternative traffic routes:
To avoid the square area, vehicles can move in the direction from Bui Lam - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Thi Dinh - Dien Bien Phu - continue to move in all directions.
Functional forces recommend that vehicle drivers when traveling to isolated areas need to reduce speed, comply with the instructions of traffic police and traffic signal systems.
Depending on the actual situation, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police will adjust the time and scope of road bans or traffic diversion to ensure safety, while minimizing the impact on people's travel when coming to watch fireworks.
