At the Reunification Hall, leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City directly attended and directed the general rehearsal of the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City honored to bear the name of President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026).



From early morning, all preparations at the Reunification Hall (Saigon ward) were deployed urgently and seriously. Attending and directly inspecting the organizational work were Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Vo Van Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and leaders of departments, agencies, branches and related forces.
The purpose of the working session is to comprehensively re-evaluate technical factors, scripts, as well as the quality of performing arts. Under the close supervision of city leaders, ceremonial teams and artists focused highly to test run the program. Ho Chi Minh City leaders requested that all details must reach the highest level of completion, ensuring the event takes place solemnly, solemnly and worthily. Up to now, the amount of preparation work has basically been completed.


According to the plan, the event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City honorably named after President Ho Chi Minh will take place on the morning of July 2.
