Thanh Hoa City will organize low-altitude fireworks to welcome the New Year for about 15 minutes, starting at 00:00 on January 1, 2025 at Lam Son Square.
According to the plan approved by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the highlight of the "Welcome New Year 2025" art program is the low-altitude fireworks display at Lam Son Square. A total of 180 fireworks displays will be launched for 15 minutes, starting at 00:00 on January 1, 2025.
The entire budget for the New Year's Eve fireworks display is mobilized from socialized sources, not using the state budget. Thanh Hoa City has determined that fireworks display and art programs on New Year's Eve will gradually become a new tourism product.
This is an annual activity of Thanh Hoa City, but this year it is organized on a larger scale to celebrate important events of the homeland, such as: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the 220th anniversary of the provincial capital, and the 30th anniversary of the establishment and merger of Dong Son district into Thanh Hoa City, from January 1, 2025.
The art program with 16 performances will feature many famous singers such as: Ngo Thanh Huyen (Sao Mai 2013 Light Music Champion), Trinh Linh Chi (Sao Mai 2029 Chamber Music Runner-up), Hoang Thuy (Sao Mai 2015 Light Music Runner-up), Trung Quang (Bolero Idol 2016 Champion), Duy Thuc (A Prize of the National Music Festival 2023), and many other artists.
