HCMC approves investor of Ben Thanh - Can Gio Metro project
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just approved the investment policy and approved Vinspeed High-speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (under Vingroup Corporation) as the investor of the Ben Thanh - Can Gio Metro project.
According to the decision, the Ben Thanh - Can Gio Metro line is more than 54 km long, built with a standard double track gauge of 1,435 mm, operated by an electrification system. The designed route allows trains to run at a maximum speed of 350km/h.
The starting point is at 23/9 Park (Ben Thanh Ward) and ending at the 39-hectare land plot bordering Can Gio coastal urban tourism area (Can Gio Commune). See more...
