The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Creative Awards Ceremony will take place on April 25 at the City Theater, honoring 52 outstanding works in many fields, contributing to promoting the comprehensive development of the city.
On the afternoon of March 20, at a press conference on socio-economic issues of Ho Chi Minh City, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs informed about the number of projects expected to win awards in 2025. This year's award attracted 292 entries in 7 areas: economic development, national defense - security, state management, media, literature - arts, science and technology and creative startups.
After the preliminary round and assessment by the professional council, 60 products have been proposed for city-level selection. After a thorough evaluation process, the Ho Chi Minh City Creative Awards Committee decided to award 52 awards to outstanding works.
Of which, the economic development sector has 9 prizes, national defense - security 6 prizes, state management 7 prizes, communication 6 prizes, literature - art 9 prizes, science and technology 9 prizes and creative startups 6 prizes.
These projects not only demonstrate creativity and innovation but also contribute positively to the overall development of the city.
A new point of this year's award is the list of works that are made public to listen to opinions from the community before officially announcing the award. The specific rankings of each project will be announced at the awards ceremony.
The Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award is considered by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to honor initiatives, scientific works, technical solutions and cultural and artistic works that have contributed positively to the development of the city.
The authors and groups of authors who won the awards will receive certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, certificates and bonuses from 100 - 200 million VND depending on the category.
