The fireworks display is part of a special art program to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress in Hanoi Capital.
Talking to reporters, a security guard here said that high-altitude fireworks launchers, support frames... were transported here by trucks from January 11.
The construction of the fireworks battlefield here will be deployed from now until January 23.
In recent days, while exercising on Le Duc Tho street, Mr. Nguyen Van Bao (50 years old, Tu Liem ward) saw trucks rushing to transport and gather specialized technical equipment to serve fireworks displays, he felt very excited.
According to Mr. Bao, organizing fireworks displays in the My Dinh Stadium area is always the focus of attention, especially when this activity has a very special meaning - celebrating the success of the 14th Party Congress.
This is a major event of the country, people are all very hopeful about the brilliant and eye-catching fireworks display, being in harmony with this joyful and proud atmosphere" - Mr. Bao said.
According to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee, fireworks will be installed on the roof and on both sides of the B stand of My Dinh Stadium; high-altitude fireworks will be arranged in the area from halfway Le Duc Tho street through the clock to the vacant lot in front of the Aquatic Sports Palace.
The total number of fireworks used includes 4,600 high-altitude fireworks, 950 flower sprayers of all kinds and 4,400 fireworks tubes.
The fireworks program lasts about 30 minutes, expected to start from 8:10 pm on January 23 according to the script of the Special Art Program to celebrate the success of the 14th Party Congress.
The City People's Committee has also assigned specific tasks to agencies and units in coordinating the organization of the fireworks program to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress.
In which, the Hanoi Capital High Command is assigned to coordinate with agencies and functional departments of the Ministry of National Defense to grasp the results of inspection and assessment of conformity to ensure standards, technical regulations, types, brands, production countries, production years, and expiration dates for fireworks products imported by Sun Group and Hoa Chat 21 Co., Ltd.; the inspection results ensure sufficient conditions for foreign experts and other forces performing fireworks shooting tasks hired by Sun Group.
