Commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at 8 locations. According to Lao Dong reporters, on the morning of April 30, the atmosphere at the "fields of battle" is bustling and urgent to prepare for a brilliant light party, synchronized with music and with a breakthrough in visual effects.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City organizes a total of 8 fireworks display points, including 3 high-altitude points and 5 low-altitude points, distributed in many different areas. The synchronous investment in terms of scale, technology and ideas is being urgently realized by the forces, promising to bring an impressive performance, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere for the country's major holiday.
The highlight of this year's performance is Saigon Marina IFC building - the central firing point that plays a role in creating outstanding visual effects for the entire area, combined with the firing point in An Khanh. In terms of scale, the Saigon Marina IFC building area is equipped with nearly 12,000 fireworks tubes, mainly low-range fireworks and fire magic effects. Meanwhile, An Khanh point will coordinate to create a multi-layered space with 1,200 high-range fireworks, combined with 60 low-range fireworks and 10 fire magic systems, helping to supplement and create depth for the entire performance.
The most notable breakthrough this year is the complete change in the design and arrangement of effects. Instead of firing horizontally in the traditional way, the artillery system at the building is arranged vertically, creating a "butterfly wing" shape spreading widely on both sides of the space. The artillery layers will be activated simultaneously instead of alternating, helping to increase the pace, creating a feeling of urgency and continuity. Although still retaining familiar symbolic effects such as rice flower, butterfly, or lotus, this year's presentation has been refreshed, modern and more eye-catching.
Not only visually pleasing, the April 30th fireworks display this year is also a perfect combination with music. The program is built with 4 songs (lasting from 3 to 4.5 minutes each), in which the ending song has a heroic sound, evoking the atmosphere of victory of the historic April 30th. The entire sound and lighting system of the building will be completely synchronized with each fireworks explosion, bringing a more vivid experience than in previous years.
To bring about this wonderful performance, security and technical safety are put first. Military, police, fire and medical forces have established a multi-layered protection system, on duty 24/24 throughout the period from the 29th to the end of the 30th. 4. The construction process is strictly implemented: system installation is carried out first, then firecrackers are loaded to ensure control and minimize risks.
Recording the reality at the high-altitude fireworks display point in Vung Tau ward early this morning (April 30), functional forces were present urgently to install and be ready to open fire. Officers and soldiers meticulously checked each firecracker barrel, each technical connection to ensure absolute safety.
