On April 16, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a plan to organize fireworks displays on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).
Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at 8 locations, including 3 high-altitude locations and 5 low-altitude locations.
3 high-altitude fireworks locations:
Saigon River tunnel head area (An Khanh ward) with 1,200 high-altitude firecrackers, 60 low-altitude G25 platforms and 10 low-altitude DBG platforms.
The New City Center area (Binh Duong ward) with 500 high-altitude missiles, 60 G25 rigs and 5 DBG rigs.
Ba Ria Park Square (Ba Ria ward) with 830 high-altitude fruits, 60 G25 trellises and 5 DBG trellises.
5 low-altitude fireworks locations:
Cu Chi Tunnels historical relic site (An Nhon Tay commune) with 90 G25 trellises.
Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward) with 90 G25 trellises.
SAIGON MARINA IFC tower (Saigon ward) with 90 G25 rigs, 30 DBG rigs and 4,420 FH-30 pipes.
Kim Long Villa Area (Rach Dia bridge, Nha Be commune) with 90 G25 platforms.
Can Gio sea encroachment tourist urban area - Vinhomes Green Paradise (Can Gio commune) with 35 FH-60 platforms, 60 low-altitude platforms No. 3 and 6 G25 platforms.
Fireworks display time takes place from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM on April 30, 2026. Especially at the point in Can Gio sea encroachment tourist urban area, fireworks will be displayed for a shorter time, from 9:00 PM to 9:05 PM on the same day.
All funds for organizing fireworks displays are mobilized from socialized sources.
