On the morning of August 4 in Cam Phuc Bac ward (Khanh Hoa), the Naval Region 4 Command organized a program to present hundreds of handwritten letters from students of Van Bao Primary School (Hanoi) to officers, soldiers and people of Truong Sa Special Zone.

The round, innocent features of the young students contain the love of the homeland's sea and islands, respect and gratitude for the soldiers who are day and night fighting the wind.
In each letter is a simple but meaningful words of encouragement: I wish you good health, holding a gun to protect you at sea. I will always study well so as not to disappoint my uncles and will be the future kindergarten of the country student Tran Ha My, class 5A5 expressed.
Nguyen Phuong Xuyen, class 5A6, emotionally wrote: "I would like to thank the soldiers for sacrificing themselves to make the country peaceful, giving us the opportunity to go to school and live happily as it is today".
Colonel Nguyen Xuan Dung - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Naval Region 4 - emphasized: "Handwritten letters are invaluable spiritual gifts, a source of motivation for officers and soldiers of Truong Sa to continue to be steadfast in their weapons and to stand firm at the forefront of the wave.
Especially on the occasion of the first victory - the glorious traditional milestone of the Vietnam Navy - the affection of the young generation on land for the sea and islands is even more worthy of being respected".
The letters will be sent by working ships to Truong Sa archipelago in the coming time, and will be handed to the officers, soldiers and people on the island.
In the digital age, handwritten letters are becoming increasingly rare, but that is why their spiritual value is even more sacred.
These are not only handwritten lines, but also written with hearts, extending the tradition of "Large rear - Strong front".
