In early March, we had the opportunity to return to the Naval Region 4 Training Center, located at Cam Ranh Port. Here, we met two brothers who volunteered to join the army: Second Class Tran Quoc Bao and Second Class Tran The Bao, from Battalion 452.

Born in 2007, both are citizens of Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai province. Second Lieutenant Tran The Bao shared: "As a youth, we must first fulfill our civic obligations to the Fatherland.
Since I was a child, I have loved the Navy soldiers and have wanted to wear the uniform of the Coast Guard, contributing to protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands.
Coming from a family with difficult circumstances, his parents were separated, his mother went to the city to start a business, and the two brothers lived with their grandmother over 70 years old.
When they received the call-up order to join the army, both were determined to write a volunteer application. Despite concerns, the grandmother still supports because she understands the responsibility of young people with the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands.
Second Lieutenant Tran Quoc Bao confided: " Going to military service has been my dream since I was a child. I hope to practice and mature more in the military environment. Here, we receive attention and enthusiastic guidance from commanders at all levels.

Captain Nguyen Van Ai, Political Commissar of Battalion 452, said: "The case of two twins joining the army is rare.
In particular, the military enlistment day is also the 18th birthday of Quoc Bao and The Bao, creating a memorable memory. Both are enthusiastic, responsible, strictly disciplined, and commended by the unit.
Colonel Nguyen Hong Chinh - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Naval Region 4 Training Center, shared: In 2025, the Center will receive more than 1,000 new soldiers from 6 provinces and cities. Most soldiers are conscious, responsible, and in good health. The story of Quoc Bao and The Bao needs to be spread to motivate young people of military age".
