The incident occurred at an empty lot on Lien Hamlet 234 road, Vinh Loc A commune at noon on February 22.
Initial information, at around 12:00 on February 22, people heard a cry for help from this area and immediately ran there. At the scene, two men were injured, nearby a buffalo with a pair of long horns. Immediately, local people reported to the local authorities and called an ambulance to take the victim to the hospital.
A representative of Vinh Loc A Commune People's Committee confirmed that the commune police had received the incident and were working with both the buffalo owner and the victim's family to clarify the cause. According to initial assessment, it could be due to people coming too close or taking a sabotage action, causing the buffalo to react and attack.
The case is still being further verified and handled by the authorities.
