The Ha Giang - Tuyen Quang Expressway project, the section through Tuyen Quang province, is 77km long, with a total investment of VND6,800 billion. The project started in October 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The project starts at the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway intersection with National Highway 2D, and ends at Tan Quang commune (Bac Quang, Ha Giang). Recently, the Government also assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to guide Tuyen Quang province to adjust the investment policy to increase to 4 lanes.
On November 8, the reporter noted that the second expressway running along Tuyen Quang province is gradually emerging. After more than 1 year of implementation, contractors have focused on cutting hills, crossing rivers to open roads to create construction sites with the excavation and filling volume of millions of cubic meters of earth and rock.
At Km23, the section passing through Tu Quan commune (Yen Son), dozens of vehicles and hundreds of workers were mobilized to level the ground. This section is currently in the stage of road opening and leveling.
Some other items such as underground sewers and underpasses for people on the route are also under construction. However, the current difficulty is that the entire route is lacking a large amount of earth for embankment, due to related regulations.
A contractor in package 20, constructing Km23+00-Km43+00, said that the construction unit alone is lacking nearly 2 million cubic meters of soil. However, the procedures to exploit the soil for embankment are also very difficult.
According to the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works in Tuyen Quang Province (investor), by the end of October 2024, all 6/6 construction packages for the road and bridge sections on the route had been simultaneously deployed with 90 construction teams. The implementation value reached about 14.55%.
According to the investor, from now until the end of December 2024, the compensation and site clearance work will be completed and handed over to the construction unit. The target is to complete 80% of the excavation of the roadbed, filling the K95 roadbed, and works on the route.
