According to the report of Ms. Trinh Thi Yen (residing in Yen Cuong commune, Ninh Binh province), at around 6:30 a.m. on October 4, her daughter, N.T.X.M, born in 2009, left home and could not return.
The couple reported to the commune police for searching. Through information from friends, family and authorities determined that M had gotten into a passenger car and moved to the South.
Through camera footage, at around 3:00 p.m. on October 5, Yen Cuong Commune Police found M on a car trip from the North to Ho Chi Minh City.
After contacting the bus company, Yen Cuong Commune Police discussed with the police in Ho Chi Minh City to promptly pick up M, before he planned to continue moving to another locality.
The moment she met her daughter again made Ms. Yen happy and burst into tears. Through investigation, Ms. Yen learned that a person in the South (watching M through social networks) booked a car ticket for M to go to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the plan M shared, after entering Ho Chi Minh City, the girl will continue to move to An Giang near the border.
"We are encouraging M to stabilize his mentality. After that, the family will find out the background of the person who booked the ticket, to prevent the child from being lured again" - Ms. Yen said.
