At the end of 2022, households shared with reporters that they had paid up to 7 times (from the beginning of 2022) to repair the road together. However, landslides continued, many landslides approached the gates and fences of houses.
On February 23, 2024, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province approved the project to handle the problem of Thao riverbank and oil spill landslides in Area 1, Bac Son commune, Tam Nong district with a total investment of 7 billion VND to overcome.
Returning here in the last days of November 2025, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that the stone embankment after completion had prevented landslides. Most easily seen is that the old concrete road is no longer subsided. It can be seen that the road section is not having problems because the foundation below is stable and sturdy.
