In July 2022, Lao Dong Newspaper reported on the serious deterioration of provincial road 313C through Yen Duong, Dieu Luong, Van Khuc, Chuong Xa communes of Cam Khe district after 2 decades of not being renovated and upgraded, causing many difficulties for people's travel, affecting socio-economic development.
By the end of 2023, the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province (now the Department of Construction) had invested 45 billion VND to implement the Repair project for damage after storms and floods on provincial road 313C (from Km7+630 - Km14+900), Cam Khe district - the entire 7.27 km of degraded provincial road 313C has been repaired and upgraded.
Returning to Provincial Road 313C through the above communes, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that the road is degraded with countless potholes, elephant holes, dusty and muddy to the point that it was once called both bad and dirty, but now it has a new, spacious and clean appearance.
Especially, with the road passing through the center of Yen Duong commune, it was once the most degraded road, bringing the most difficult and hard work for people now with flower flags like expressing the joy and excitement of the people here after the arterial road is upgraded.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Thinh - a resident of Yen Duong commune - expressed: "It is not more wonderful to see that the main road was once damaged, the whole hole and mud have now been poured with flat asphalt, the ditches have been built synchronously like this. Not only does it help my village "change its skin and meat", but it also contributes significantly to the socio-economic development".
According to information from the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province, the total length of the repair section is 7.27 km, the road surface structure is completed with asphalt concrete, construction of a drainage system (vertical term, cross-culverts) and completion of a traffic safety system according to standards. The contract implementation period is from December 2023 to the end of May 2025.
Currently, the basic items of the project have been completed, the remaining wave-etone guard system is being urgently focused on by the construction unit (expected to be completed before May 25, 2025) for acceptance and use.
It can be seen that the joy is doubled for the people of Yen Duong, Van Khuc and Chuong Xa communes (Van Khuc and Chuong Xa communes are now Nhat Tien communes) when provincial road 313C was renovated and upgraded and the 2,120 billion VND inter-regional road section passing through the area has also been handed over and put into use.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - former Chairman of Yen Duong Commune People's Committee (now Chairman of Dieu Luong Commune People's Committee) was the one who answered the reporter's interview in the report "Phu Tho: People suffer because of degraded provincial roads" nearly 3 years ago. Reopening the report that he still kept in his phone, Mr. Hung recalled:
"At that time, the Party Committee, the authorities and people of Yen Duong commune had nothing more than the provincial road 313C was repaired and upgraded for the importance of the route as well as the current degradation situation for many years.
