On the afternoon of September 7, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police said that in the last 3 days of the week, the traffic police force discovered and handled 614 cases of illegal parking.
Accordingly, implementing the plan of Hanoi City Police on ensuring traffic order and safety, Hanoi Traffic Police Department has proactively deployed forces, strengthened patrols and inspections on key routes and areas; focused on detecting and handling violations that are the cause of congestion and traffic accidents.
From September 4 to September 6, through patrol and control work, the traffic police force discovered and handled 614 cases of illegal parking and stopping vehicles. Among them, there were 135 passenger cars, 106 trucks, 317 cars and 33 motorbikes.
According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, improper vehicle stopping and parking, especially on main roads, radial axes and areas with high vehicle density, can cause traffic obstruction, forming congestion points, and potentially causing collisions and traffic accidents.

Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that vehicle drivers strictly comply with regulations on stopping and parking; observe signs, choose suitable locations and only stop and park in permitted places, contributing to ensuring safety for themselves and other vehicles.
In the coming time, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department will continue to maintain working groups to strengthen patrols and inspections, combine direct handling with the application of camera surveillance systems, handling violations through images, in order to improve the efficiency of detecting and handling violations and maintaining traffic order and safety in the city.
