Implementing the plan of Hanoi City Police, traffic police (CSGT) teams have coordinated with grassroots police forces to strengthen inspection and handle violations of illegal parking and stopping, in order to restore urban order and ensure safe and smooth traffic.
Recorded on the morning of April 20, on Nguyen Trai route, Road Traffic Police Team No. 7, Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police in coordination with Thanh Xuan Ward Police focused on inspecting and handling many violations.
Nguyen Trai is a road where many key projects are being implemented, the road surface is narrowed in many locations to serve construction. Although full no-stopping and no-parking signs have been installed, violations still occur, affecting traffic.
During the shift, the task force discovered and handled a series of cases of cars stopping and parking in violation of regulations. Accordingly, at about 9:45 am in the area of No. 208 Nguyen Trai, functional forces made a record against Mr. D. V. H (born in 1996, residing in Ninh Binh) driving a car with license plate 35A-609. xx parked in a place with a no-parking sign.
At 10:15 on the same day, at area 334 Nguyen Trai, Mr. L.Đ.T (born 1987, residing in Hanoi) driving vehicle license plate 89A-670.xx was also treated with the same error.

Notably, in addition to direct patrols, functional forces strengthen the application of technology in handling violations. Task forces use AI cameras combined with flycams to record images from above, quickly detect cases of stopping and parking in violation of regulations, especially at hidden viewpoints or construction areas. Image data is stored as a basis for handling according to regulations.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh - officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7, the unit maintains regular working groups, closely coordinates with the Ward Police to patrol, control, and strictly handle violations.
The application of recording devices, including AI cameras and flycams, contributes to improving monitoring efficiency, ensuring objectivity and transparency," Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh shared.
Not only handling violations on the road surface, functional forces also combine propaganda and reminders to people, especially businesses on sidewalks, to comply with regulations, keep vehicles in the right places, contributing to maintaining "clear roads and clear sidewalks".

Statistics from Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 show that from April 15 to now, the unit has handled 103 violations, fined more than 76.1 million VND, and temporarily seized 103 sets of documents. Including 43 trucks, 23 passenger cars, 36 cars and 1 motorbike.
Tightening the handling of illegal parking and stopping behaviors not only contributes to ensuring traffic order and safety but also raises the awareness of traffic participants, towards building a civilized and safe urban environment, "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful".
