In the 2023-2024 school year, Phu Luong Kindergarten continued to receive comprehensive direction from the Lac Son Department of Education and Training, the attention of the Party Committee - People's Committee, departments and branches in Quyet Thang commune, the continuous efforts of the staff, teachers, employees, the close coordination of the parents' committee and the community, the unit has successfully completed the assigned tasks.
Universal education work is well maintained. The school mobilizes 100% of 5-year-old children in the area to attend class, and the number of 20/20 class groups meets the target compared to the plan.
With the characteristics of preschool children all having semi-boarding meals, the school pays great attention to ensuring the quality of meals and food safety for children. The school has organized a good communal kitchen, ensuring that children eat enough quality and quantity. The school regularly coordinates with the Commune Health Station to examine and dispense medicine for children, 100% of children are monitored for health by growth charts and have regular health check-ups.
That is why the quality of child care and education at the school is increasingly improved, praised by all levels and sectors and trusted by parents.
The school always excellently completes its professional tasks, becoming a school with quality in caring, nurturing and educating children, contributing to improving the overall quality of the education and training sector in Lac Son district in particular and Hoa Binh province in general.
Ms. Bui Thi Xen - Principal of the school shared that the emulation movement in the school has brought great efficiency in organizing the implementation of professional tasks, the efficiency is that in the past school year the quality of education and care has been significantly improved, each teacher and staff has a direction to strive to achieve the best results. With the achievements, for 2 consecutive years the school has been honored to be awarded the noble title "Advanced Labor Collective".
To improve the quality of education, the school constantly innovates teaching methods. Up to now, 100% of the school's teachers have qualified and above-standard qualifications, use electronic lesson plans in teaching and have a firm grasp of the preschool education program.
Although the State pays attention to investment and support, the school's facilities are still lacking and life is still full of difficulties.
Previously, for many years, at Khai Cai school – 4km from the main school with nearly 100 children but only 3 classrooms. Due to lack of facilities, the school had to use the kitchen warehouse as a temporary classroom.
In October 2024, the school also received support from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund of Lao Dong Newspaper in the amount of 350 million VND to support the construction of new classrooms for students. However, the physical facilities for teaching still face many difficulties.
“Currently, the school hopes to continue receiving support from organizations and philanthropists to ensure facilities for children to go to school with peace of mind, and to help future generations fulfill their dreams,” shared teacher Xen.
