Each department leader will directly accompany the team to supervise, inspect and prevent traffic jams with the local Traffic Police Teams of the Hanoi City Police.
"In case of detecting an incident, traffic jam or passenger bus stopping, picking up and dropping off passengers in violation of regulations, the teams will immediately notify the Traffic Police Team in charge of the area for immediate handling," said Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Hoa.
According to the Head of the Traffic Guidance, Control and Tour Guide Department, with the advantage of fast mobility and quick access, the traffic police teams on motorbikes will help reduce congestion, handle incidents quickly, and help people go home for Tet holiday smoothly.
On Le Duan - Giai Phong - Do Muoi street, the traffic police team reminded many taxis to stop and park illegally in front of Bach Mai Hospital.
In addition to clearing traffic jams, the traffic police on motorbikes also quickly guided ambulances through local congestion points.
On Giai Phong Street (in front of Nuoc Ngam Bus Station), the traffic police team on motorbikes also coordinated with Road Traffic Police Team No. 14 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) to clear the traffic jam to help the ambulance go from Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway into the inner city.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Hoa informed that the Traffic Police teams of the Department will be on duty throughout Tet so that people can have a happy holiday.
