Responding to Youth Month 2026 with the theme "Youth pioneering, creative, volunteering for the community", on the evening of March 4, the Youth Union of Naval Flotilla 212 in coordination with the Youth Union of Tam Hai commune (Da Nang) organized a Youth Forum with the theme "Proud of the Coast Guard Region Command 2 – 22 years of construction and development".
The forum aims to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command (March 5, 2004 – March 5, 2026) and welcome the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term, People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 – 2031 term.
At the forum, union members and youth together reviewed the 22-year journey of building and developing the Coast Guard Region 2 Command. Throughout the past time, officers and soldiers throughout the Region have always steadfastly sticked to the sea, carrying out patrols, inspections, and fighting against crime, smuggling, and trade fraud; actively rescuing and accompanying fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea, contributing to maintaining security and order in the sea area under management.
The forum is also an opportunity for union members and youth to exchange experiences, propose many solutions to promote the pioneering and creative role of youth in performing the political tasks of the unit; and at the same time propagate the meaning and importance of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
Through activities, pride in the 22-year tradition of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command continues to spread, contributing to consolidating the determination of the youth of Naval Flotilla 212 in training, dedication, and being ready to receive and complete all tasks well, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.
