At the meeting, delegates listened to reports on the implementation of three major projects including: the route from Thai Binh ward to Pho Hien ward; the route connecting the old Thai Binh city to Nghin bridge under the form of public investment; and axis routes connecting to functional areas in the Economic Zone.
According to the report, the project of the road from Thai Binh ward to Pho Hien ward is implementing phase 1, the section from National Highway 10 intersection to Dong Tu intersection is 24.8 km long. Localities have promulgated support policies, counting assets, trees, crops and completing agricultural land counting.
Site clearance is being urgently implemented, expected to complete agricultural land in November 2025, residential land and other land before April 2026. The investor will coordinate with relevant units to survey, agree on a plan to relocate technical infrastructure and prepare the necessary conditions to start the project at the end of October 2025.
The project of the road from the old Thai Binh City to Nghin Bridge has completed site clearance and handed over to the construction unit since August 2025. Contractors are constructing roadbeds, treating weak soil and completing drainage systems, in which the sewer system for the section Km2+500-Km3+500 has been completed, the remaining sections continue to be filled with load, ensuring progress and disbursement plans for public investment capital.

With the project to build axis routes connecting the Economic Zone, the basic progress meets the requirements, some packages exceed the plan. Specifically, route 1 reached 65% of the contract value; route 2 reached 80%; routes 3, 4, 5 are speeding up site clearance for the remaining area to complete the next items.
In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lai Van Hoan acknowledged the efforts of the units and requested to focus on accelerating site clearance, resettlement arrangements, preparing resettlement funds and infrastructure relocation plans; at the same time, strengthening inspection and urging progress, ensuring investment quality and efficiency.
For the Thai Binh - Pho Hien route, departments, branches and localities need to focus highly, learn from the CT.08 project, and be ready to hand over the clean site to the construction unit.
With the axis routes connecting the Economic Zone, Binh Dinh, Nam Tien Hai, Hung Phu communes closely follow the progress, proactively handle work within their authority, promptly coordinate with departments and branches to remove difficulties.
For the route connecting the old Thai Binh City - Nghin Bridge, Project Management Board No. 2 and contractors will strengthen inspection, urging, and strictly implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on progress, quality and investment efficiency
