At the 32nd session of the People's Council of Hung Yen province, term XVII, 2021 - 2026, held yesterday afternoon (October 10), Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that in the first 9 months of 2025, under the strong leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the flexible operation of authorities at all levels and the consensus of businesses, people, and the province's socio-economic development achieved many positive results. Traffic, industrial and urban infrastructure continue to be invested synchronously; culture and society have clearly changed; social security is guaranteed; the two-level government model operates effectively.
Regarding the tasks for the last months of the year, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that the Provincial People's Committee improve the effectiveness of budget management and operation, urgently complete the dossier on the contents of adjustment, supplementation of tasks and budget estimates; arrange reasonable capital sources, and manage the budget flexibly, economically and effectively. At the same time, review and rearrange public assets, especially surplus assets after restructuring the apparatus, to avoid loss and waste.
To complete the economic growth target of 10 - 10.5% and increase budget revenue by at least 25%, the Provincial People's Committee focuses on accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital, effectively implementing the "100-day plan to complete the disbursement of public investment capital in 2025", completely handling outstanding debts in basic construction, not allowing new ones to arise.
In addition, it will strengthen support for businesses, promote the progress of FDI projects, industrial parks, urban areas, industrial clusters, and economic zones, creating momentum for sustainable development.
The Provincial People's Committee also directed to speed up site clearance and construction of the extended Hanoi - Hung Yen inter-provincial road upgrade project, striving to complete and hand over the project before December 31; at the same time, publicize and make transparent the collections in education, resolutely prevent overcharging and wrong collection, ensure fairness and the rights of students.
Preparing for the regular year-end meeting, the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities reviewed and completed the content submitted to the meeting, ensuring quality and on time; The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee continued to closely coordinate with authorities at all levels in supervising and mobilizing the people to compete, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
