On April 14, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee held a conference to listen to reports on the results of reviewing and proposing investment projects to supply electricity to remote and isolated villages without national grid electricity in the period 2026 - 2030.
At the same time, discuss solutions to remove obstacles in handing over invested power projects.
According to the review, as of March 31, there are 40 villages with 2,910 households and 40 residential areas with 2,250 households without national grid electricity.
The rate of households using national grid electricity in the province reached 98.3%. The rate of villages and hamlets using national grid electricity reached 97.88%.
Among them, 5 villages belonging to 4 communes are being proposed by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to implement investment in power supply projects.

At the conference, it focused on discussing the allocation of resources to implement investment in power supply projects for villages. Options for selecting investors, removing obstacles in handing over power projects...
Concluding the conference, Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc emphasized that using electricity is an essential need of the people, especially in the current digital transformation.
The Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities that do not have electricity, to propose investment plans for the national grid or other types of renewable energy.
Strive to complete investment in 40 villages without national grid electricity by the end of the second quarter of 2027.
