At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long, authorized, performed the ceremony of awarding the Second-class Labor Medal to Urenco. This is a noble award from the Party and State recognizing particularly outstanding achievements in labor and contribution to the cause of building and developing the Capital, especially in the work of sorting, collecting, and treating waste, contributing to ensuring environmental sanitation in Hanoi City in the period 2021 - 2024.


According to the report, in 2025, Urenco successfully completed production and business targets in the context of many difficulties due to changes in management mechanisms and organization of environmental sanitation service bidding. Total company revenue reached 1,885 billion VND, equal to 112% of the plan; parent company profit reached 38.1 billion VND. The company also arranged forces and vehicles to ensure environmental sanitation work to serve more than 40 important political and cultural events of the Capital and the country.
During the year, the unit continued to promote investment in modern equipment, with a total value of more than 68 billion VND; strengthen mechanization, gradually build a civilized and modern urban environment image. At the same time, the company takes care of workers' lives, ensures jobs, average income reaches about 9.5 million VND/person/month; fully implements all policies and regimes according to regulations.
Along with professional tasks, the work of building the Party and mass organizations in the enterprise is focused on. In 2025, the Company's Party Committee admitted 15 new party members; Trade Unions and Youth Unions implemented many activities to care for life, support workers and participate in city emulation movements.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Urenco Company expressed his deep gratitude for the close attention and direction of central and Hanoi City leaders at all levels, the effective coordination and support of departments and agencies, especially the trust and companionship of commune and ward authorities and people of the Capital throughout the past 65 years.
