Welcoming the success of the 14th Party Congress and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Party (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), on the morning of February 2 in Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the project to renovate, repair, upgrade, and build a new working headquarters of the Presidential Office, at No. 2 Le Thach - Bac Bo Phu.
Also attending the ceremony were former President Nguyen Minh Triet; Politburo members: Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Pham Gia Tuc; Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
Also attending were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, leaders of central and Hanoi city departments, ministries, and branches.

At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong, along with leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Presidential Office Headquarters project.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, President Luong Cuong affirmed that this is a particularly meaningful event, not only marking the completion and commissioning of an important project, but also showing the close connection between the historical tradition of the Vietnamese revolution, with the requirement to build a modern and strong socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam, a State of the people, by the people, for the people, in the new era of development of the Vietnamese nation.
The President emphasized that the Bac Bo Palace and the complex of works here are a sacred historical space of the nation, where the great President Ho Chi Minh and the interim Government worked in the early days of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. This place has truly become a noble symbol of the revolutionary government, of an independent, self-reliant, legitimate State, a desire for freedom, peace and the indomitable will of the Vietnamese nation.
On this occasion, the President expressed his gratitude for the close and dedicated leadership and direction of Party and State leaders, led by General Secretary To Lam; the support and companionship of central ministries and branches and Hanoi city; highly appreciated and praised the Office of the Party Central Committee, the Office of the President as well as the responsibility, determination and feelings of contractors, officials, engineers, workers, and laborers in the project implementation process.
To ensure that the project is managed and used effectively, President Luong Cuong requested the Presidential Office, as the receiving and managing unit, to take the lead in coordinating with the Party Central Committee Office, Hanoi City, and the contractor to receive, manage, operate, and exploit the project effectively, safely, and sustainably.

Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Vo Thanh Hung said that the investor and contractors overcome many obstacles, overcome many difficulties and challenges, ensure the project implementation in accordance with the proposed policy, fully comply with legal regulations; meet the requirements that the project must be a harmonious combination of preserving historical architectural relics with modernization, security, safety and a solemn, modern working space, worthy of the role and position of the Presidential Office; demonstrate long-term vision and strategic thinking in the work of building, managing, and promoting the effectiveness of the Party and State's public assets.
After 12 months of continuous implementation, the project has been completed on schedule, ensuring quality, aesthetics, security, safety and environmental sanitation requirements.
