According to information from functional agencies, at about 4:45 am on May 21, at Km18+200 National Highway 1, the section passing through Dong Kinh ward, Lang Son province, a serious traffic accident occurred, killing one person on the spot.
According to initial information, at the above time, Mr. Truong Van D. (born 1991, residing in Dong Kinh ward, Lang Son province) was driving a truck with license plate 20B-161.63 traveling in the direction of Lang Son - Hanoi.
When moving to the above location, the truck collided with a motorbike with license plate 12D1-073. 86 driven by Mr. Lang Van L. (born 1989, residing in Cong Son commune, Lang Son province) traveling in the opposite direction, Hanoi - Lang Son direction.
The strong collision caused Mr. L. to die on the spot. Two vehicles were damaged after the accident.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces coordinated with the People's Procuracy of Region 1 to be present to examine the scene, conduct an autopsy and investigate the cause of the accident.
According to functional agencies, at the time of the collision, this area had heavy rain, slippery roads and limited visibility.
