On May 16, on National Highway 14, the section passing through Duc Tho village, Bu Dang commune, Dong Nai city, a multi-vehicle traffic accident occurred between 3 trucks, causing 1 person to be seriously injured and prolonged traffic congestion.
According to initial information, on the morning of May 16, driver V.N. H (45 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) was driving a tanker truck with license plate 51D-369. xx pulling a trailer 51R-328. xx, traveling on National Highway 14 from Ho Chi Minh City to Dak Lak province.
When arriving at Duc Tho village area, Bu Dang commune, it collided with a truck with license plate number 61C-367. 8xx driven by T.T. D (26 years old, residing in Gia Lai province) traveling in the opposite direction, then continued to collide with a truck with license plate number 50-024. xx driven by D.T. M (46 years old, residing in Dong Nai city).
At the scene, all 3 vehicles were heavily damaged, driver M. was trapped in the cabin, and local people coordinated to take the victim out and transfer him to the emergency room in a seriously injured condition.
The accident also caused serious traffic congestion on National Highway 14, and the traffic flow was locally prolonged.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene to divert traffic, regulate vehicles, and coordinate to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
