The incident occurred at about 9:20 PM on April 25th at An Tan village main road (Gia Loc commune). Mr. P.D. D (born in 1995, residing in Gia Loc commune) driving a motorbike in the direction of Lang Xuyen village to provincial road 395 collided with a truck driven by Mr. D. X. L (born in 1986, residing in Thach Khoi ward) parked in the opposite direction on the left. The collision caused Mr. D multiple injuries and was taken to Hai Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment. At about 0:10 AM on April 26th, the victim died at home.
Previously, at about 9:44 am on April 25 at km 18+200 National Highway 10, the Trinh Xa intersection area (Thien Huong ward), a collision also occurred. At this time, a tractor-trailer driven by Mr. N.V.K (born in 1990, residing in Hung Yen) traveling in the direction of Quang Ninh - Hung Yen collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. T.D. B (born in 1949, residing in Thien Huong ward) traveling in the same direction in front. As a result, Mr. B was injured.
At the same time, the Hai Phong Traffic Police force strengthened inspection and handling of traffic safety violations, with a total of 1,592 cases handled. Among them, there were 137 cases of speeding, 124 cases of not wearing helmets, 100 cases of alcohol concentration violations and 52 cases of stopping and parking in violation of regulations.
