The accident happened at about 8 am on July 14, in the Ngo Quyen intersection area, Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Phong city. According to information from people present at the scene, at the time of the accident, the woman was driving her bicycle across the road in the direction from the orange building area towards The Gioi Di Dong store. During the process of crossing the intersection, the bicycle cut across the front of the truck and fell into the blind spot of this vehicle, leading to a collision.
The collision caused the woman to fall to the road and die on the spot.
Functional forces then arrived to protect the scene, divert traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
