Tractor-trailer collision, 75-year-old man in Hai Phong dies

Hai Phong City Traffic Safety Committee has just informed about an accident involving a tractor-trailer that left one person dead.

Initial information, the accident occurred at 4:30 a.m. on February 11 at the intersection of Nguyen Truong To Street and Xich Tho residential area, Hong Thai Ward, An Duong District, Hai Phong.

At this time, Mr. V.S.H (born in 1950, residing in Kieu Ha, Quoc Tuan, An Duong) was driving a motorbike in an unknown direction and collided with a tractor-trailer truck going from Lam Khe bridge to National Highway 10.

The collision left Mr. H dead at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.

Previously, at around 9:25 p.m. on February 7, on the inter-ward road of residential group 5 Dong Son, Tran Hung Dao ward, Thuy Nguyen city, a traffic accident also occurred, causing 1 death.

The victim was Mr. N.T.T (born in 1982, resident of Tran Hung Dao ward) driving a motorbike on Highway 10 to residential group 6, Tran Hung Dao ward. When reaching the intersection next to the cultural house of village 5, Mr. T lost control and drove onto the sidewalk, crashing into an electric pole on the side of the road. As a result, Mr. T was injured and died on the way to the emergency room.
