Ho Chi Minh City - The overpass project under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project has been asphalted, and the access road connecting to National Highway 13 has begun to be built.

On April 3, contractors are speeding up the construction progress of construction package No. 3 of the Ring Road 3 project, the section passing through the old Binh Duong province.

Notably, this construction package has an important intersection with National Highway 13. This section is built with an overpass and below is an access road connecting to National Highway 13.

The overpass project is nearly 1km long from the intersection with Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street running along the One World real estate project and across National Highway 13.

According to records, after 2 years of construction, the overpass with 318 bored piles, 40 abutments, body piers and overpass girders has been installed. At the beginning of 2026, the contractor poured concrete and asphalted the bridge deck.

In addition, the contractor is focusing machinery on constructing access roads from National Highway 13 to Ring Road 3 HCMC and vice versa. Access roads are starting to build the roadbed. Road construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.

Meanwhile, at this location, National Highway 13 is also under construction for a project to upgrade and expand from 6 to 8 lanes. Units are installing drainage culverts, relocating power grids, and leveling the roadbed. Both projects are accelerating progress to jointly complete this intersection.
