Vietnam Airlines will temporarily suspend all flights to and from Lien Khuong airport, near Da Lat from March 2026.

According to the announcement of the authorities, Lien Khuong International Airport (Lam Dong) will temporarily close from 00:00 on March 4, 2026 to 23:59 on August 25, 2026 to deploy the construction of items under the project to repair runways and taxiways.

During this time, Vietnam Airlines will temporarily suspend all flights to and from Lien Khuong airport, and adjust the operating plan to ensure passenger travel needs and maintain regional aviation connectivity.

Accordingly, the airline will increase operations on nearby routes including Ho Chi Minh City - Buon Ma Thuot, Ho Chi Minh City - Pleiku and Da Nang - Buon Ma Thuot to serve the travel needs of passengers to Lam Dong.

This adjustment contributes to maintaining connectivity between the Central Highlands, South Central Coast and major economic centers in the context of an important aviation hub temporarily suspending operations to serve infrastructure upgrades.

For passengers who have purchased tickets on the route to and from Lam Dong through Lien Khuong airport in the period from March 4, 2026 to August 25, 2026, Vietnam Airlines supports changing flight dates or changing routes once for free.

In case of price differences, taxes or fees, passengers will comply with the current regulations of the Airline. Passengers can also choose to refund tickets and accompanying services purchased free of charge. The support policy is valid until the end of August 31, 2026.

Vietnam Airlines recommends passengers to proactively update information and contact branches, ticket offices, official agents or the Customer Care switchboard for support. The airline will continue to closely coordinate with functional agencies and relevant units to monitor construction progress, and at the same time develop a plan to restore operation as soon as Lien Khuong International Airport is eligible to operate again.
