Or the case of Mr. Trieu Van Dai (Tam Quan commune, Tam Dao district), after being lent 100 million VND from the capital source for poor and near-poor households, his family invested in barns and bought breeding animals to develop livestock farming.
Thanks to the application of scientific and technological advances in production, his family's livestock and poultry herd has continuously increased in number. With a stable income, his family has escaped poverty and their lives have improved day by day.
In addition to promoting propaganda, guidance, and creating conditions for the poor to access support policies, localities in Vinh Phuc province are promoting the socialization of activities to support the poor, effectively organizing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind".
Statistics from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vinh Phuc province show that the rate of multidimensional poverty (a new approach to limit the omission of those who are not poor in terms of income, but are poor in other aspects) in Vinh Phuc has decreased sharply each year. Currently, the whole province has no more poor communes, no more poor households that are policy beneficiaries, or meritorious people. 100% of communes and wards have no more temporary or dilapidated houses.
Along with the State's resources, emulation movements for the poor and mutual assistance in poverty reduction have been widely and effectively implemented by all levels, sectors, localities, and mass organizations in the province, contributing to mobilizing the whole society to join hands in caring for and supporting the poor. Thereby, more and more poor households and households in difficult circumstances have risen up to stabilize their lives, achieving the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
The mechanisms and policies to support poverty reduction of the Central and the province have been implemented synchronously and effectively, creating a basic premise for the majority of poor households to improve their lives and escape poverty. In the period of 2020 - 2024, Vinh Phuc has spent more than 1,500 billion VND on social security work, of which the capital for implementing poverty reduction policies is more than 445 billion VND.
