According to Notice 56/TB-VPCP in 2025 of the Government Office, the Ministry of Public Security is assigned to preside over and coordinate with banks (Vietinbank, Vietcombank, BIDV, Agribank, MB Bank) to deploy solutions for people to create social security accounts, striving for 100% of Vietnamese people to have social security accounts in 2025.
Conduct a review of people's accounts on VNeID; bank accounts linked to the VNeID application to clean up social security payments, ensure transparency, and avoid fraud.
When social security accounts are deployed, people will receive subsidies and support from the State online, transparently and minimize cumbersome administrative procedures.
On August 28, according to Lao Dong's research, VNeID has now opened the feature of registering for social security accounts with the following steps:
Step 1: Open the VNeID application and log in to your account.
Step 2: In the main interface, users just need to click on the Social Security - Social Security Account section, authenticate again upon request.
Step 3: Enter your 6-digit password to access
Step 4: Select your bank account or mobile money account to receive subsidies from social security policies. Then continue to fill in the bank account information that you have chosen to link as shown below.
fill in all personal information in each section and select below the information section "I have read the purpose of sharing, data processing, Rights, obligations of the data subject and agree to share, personal data processing" and then select "Continuate" to send a link request.
Step 5: Next, users just need to fill in all the necessary information, including full name, date of birth, ID card number, bank account number. Then mark the box "I have read the Purpose of Sharing"... at the bottom of the page and click "C continue", following the instructions until completed.
Step 6: After continuing, it will be transferred to the bottom screen with the notification that the application has been successfully submitted and waiting for approval.
