After a period of construction, the Lang Cha Ca roundabout renovation project, Ho Chi Minh City has officially been completed and put into use. The vital traffic junction at the gateway to Tan Son Nhat International Airport now has a spacious and modern appearance with the highlight being the symbol of the Lac bird reaching out, replacing the image of the globe before.

According to reporters' records, the central area of the roundabout has been synchronously renovated. The most prominent is the giant stainless steel ball with a diameter of 5m, firmly placed on a 1.5m high pedestal. The white-gray paint coating covering the surface of the ball has been smooth and shiny. On both sides of the ball, the lac bird relief in stainless steel plating is exquisitely attached, inspired by the pattern on the Dong Son bronze drum. Combined with the spiral base, the overall project evokes the image of a pair of bird wings taking strong momentum, showing the vitality and desire for continuous urban development.

The project is being constructed right at the Lang Cha Ca intersection, one of the areas with a high traffic volume in Ho Chi Minh City. To avoid causing congestion and affecting people's travel, hundreds of workers and engineers have diligently stuck to the construction site working overnight "3 shifts, 4 crews".

Putting into use the new appearance at Lang Cha Ca intersection not only solves the problem of urban aesthetics but also creates an architectural highlight imbued with national cultural identity, leaving a good impression on people and international tourists as soon as they set foot in the City.
