Lao Cai - According to preliminary statistics, the fire at the glass factory of LTT Production and Trading Joint Stock Company caused damage of about 45 billion VND.

On July 30, the authorities were present at LTT Production and Trading Joint Stock Company ( Au Lau Industrial Cluster, Au Lau Ward, Lao Cai Province) to conduct an investigation of the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.

According to the report, at around 8:30 p.m. on July 29, people living near Au Lau Industrial Park discovered a fire breaking out from a glass factory of LTT Trading and Production Joint Stock Company. The fire then quickly spread, accompanied by loud explosions and black smoke rising tens of meters high.

Some surrounding areas were also affected by the heat and dense smoke from the fire.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Lao Cai Province mobilized 6 fire trucks and hundreds of officers and soldiers to the scene to organize fire fighting.

However, because the fire area was deep in the factory, with many flammable materials such as packaging, chemicals, p durable wood, etc., the fire fighting force had many difficulties in accessing it.

In the early morning of July 30, after the fire was extinguished, the Fire Police continued to be present at the scene to prevent the fire from breaking out again.

According to preliminary statistics, the fire at LTT Production and Trading Joint Stock Company burned down nearly 2,900m2 of raw material warehouse, 645m2 of factory and about 2,000 tons of MMA organic glass solution - raw materials for construction materials. Estimated damage is up to 45 billion VND.

The company is actively coordinating with relevant agencies to count the damage and continue investigating the cause of the fire.
