On April 27, reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper recorded that the site clearance work of the Road Project connecting Hung Nghiep Formosa Steel and Iron Complex with National Highway 12C is still facing obstacles at the connection point with National Highway 12C.
It is worth mentioning that while this 3.7 km long road has been completed for 2 years, due to site clearance problems, the connection section is only about 100 m long and cannot be cleared.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the investor said that the road project connecting Hung Nghiep Formosa Iron and Steel Zone with National Highway 12C is currently facing site clearance at the connection point with National Highway 12C (belonging to Tay Yen residential group, Vung Ang ward).
Also according to the representative of the investor, the road project connecting Hung Nghiep Formosa Iron and Steel Zone with National Highway 12C has a total investment of 600 billion VND, started construction in 2022, and should have completed the entire route in 2023. However, due to site clearance problems, the progress was slow, and construction and handover of the entire project could not be completed.
We really hope that the local government will soon be decisive to complete site clearance, hand over to the contractor to deploy construction, and complete the project to help the traffic of vehicles be safe, convenient, and smooth," the representative of the investor shared.
Mr. Tran Xuan Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Vung Ang ward said that the road project connecting Hung Nghiep Formosa Iron and Steel Zone with National Highway 12C is facing site clearance issues for 9 households with land in the section connecting to National Highway 12C.
Also according to Mr. Phuong, in the past time, the locality has strengthened propaganda and mobilized people to agree, but it is still difficult and deadlocked.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to focus at the highest level to complete site clearance, in order to hand over to the construction contractor, complete the project, and put the road into smooth operation.
