On August 5, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police said that the unit had fined 2 cases of driving cars across railway crossings when the warning signal was already on, with a total amount of 38 million VND.

Accordingly, through receiving images and videos transferred by the Traffic Police Department and verifying, functional forces determined that Mr. L.D. T. driving a truck with license plate 74C-040. xx overtook the barrier when the barrier was moving at the Km639+750 level crossing, North - South railway line, belonging to Hai Lang commune, Quang Tri province on July 20.

The second case is Mr. V.T.D. driving a car with license plate 75A-348. xx crossing the level crossing when the red light was turned on at Km629+980, Dong Ha - Quang Tri area, belonging to Trieu Phong commune, Quang Tri province on July 29.

Working with the police agency, both drivers admitted their violations.

The Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police made a record and fined each case 19 million VND for the act of crossing the level crossing when the warning signal was already on, and at the same time revoked the right to use the driver's license for 1 to 3 months according to regulations.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that traffic participants absolutely comply with traffic lights, warning bells and barriers at railway level crossings; do not intentionally swerve or overtake when the warning signal is already on to avoid the risk of particularly serious accidents.
