Implementing Directive No. 31/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the protection of traffic order and safety for students, on the morning of November 4, the Director of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security issued an order to simultaneously inspect students' compliance with traffic laws nationwide.
In Hanoi, immediately after receiving an order from the Director of the Traffic Police Department, Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia - Head of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department directed the Road Traffic Police Teams to coordinate with the Commune-level Police to simultaneously deploy inspections at many schools in the city, focusing on areas with complicated student traffic violations.


The authorities have coordinated with the Board of Directors of schools to inspect the school's parking lot and the parking lots for people around the school gate.
Working groups focus on inspecting motorbikes and motorbikes that students are not allowed to drive, and at the same time evaluating the use of helmets to meet the prescribed standards.


In case of detecting violations, the authorities invite parents to work, clearly notify the violation, and require signing a commitment not to hand over vehicles to children who are not old enough to drive; at the same time, notify the school to coordinate management and education.
At the same time, patrol and control teams are also deployed on routes with many students, areas near schools during the school travel time, to detect and strictly handle violations that are the cause of traffic accidents, such as:
Not wearing a helmet, carrying more people than the prescribed number, not having a driver's license, using a phone while driving, not obeying traffic lights, driving in the wrong direction - lane, driving in the wrong direction, revving engines, weaving, swerving, gathering to disturb public order...
All violations are reported to schools, student families and commune-level police for coordination in management, appropriate handling and education measures, contributing to raising awareness of traffic law compliance among school-age children.


According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for school-age children has always been of interest to the City Police Department, with regular and continuous direction.
