Waking up from early morning, crossing the deep river to vote
3 early polling stations in Truong Son commune, Quang Tri are in Doc May, Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages. To get to the polling stations in Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages, people have to travel by waterway. Meanwhile, to get to Doc May village, you have to go through the forest, it takes many hours to reach the village center.
Complex terrain makes the transportation of supplies and equipment for the election encounter many obstacles. However, with the proactiveness of local authorities and related forces, early polling stations are still fully prepared, spacious, and ensure compliance with regulations.
At 7 am, at the polling station in Hoi Ray village, the voting atmosphere took place solemnly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. In the community activity house of the village, voters took turns checking the list, receiving votes and exercising civil rights in order, showing a sense of responsibility for the great festival of the country.
To ensure that people go to the polls fully and on time, from early morning, Mr. Ho Ba - Head of Hoi Ray village went to each house to announce and remind people. Thanks to that, immediately after the opening ceremony, voters in the village were present in large numbers.
In the voting area No. 16 of Hoi Ray village, after the opening ceremony, the Election Team disseminated regulations, rules and guided voters to correctly implement the voting process. Voters successively registered, received ballots and voted according to the provisions of law.
Ms. Ho Thi Mau (resident of Hoi Ray village) said that from early morning she went by boat across the Long Dai River to the polling station. For her, directly holding the ballot to elect National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels is an honor and also the responsibility of every citizen.
Voters participate in voting fully and in accordance with regulations
Hoi Ray village currently has 35 households with 163 people, of which nearly 90 voters participate in the election. Despite difficult travel conditions, voters still come to the polling station early to fulfill their rights and obligations. According to Mr. Vo Phuoc Doan - Head of Election Team No. 16, thanks to careful preparation and full propaganda, people in the village have high consensus and participate in the election seriously.
To ensure smooth election work, Truong Son commune previously established working groups in charge of each village, coordinating with election teams to deploy preparation tasks early. The Party Committee, local authorities, commune police and Lang Mo Border Guard Station closely followed the area, strengthening propaganda for ethnic minorities about the policies and guidelines of the Party, State and National Election Council. Through many appropriate forms of propaganda, people were clearly explained the meaning of the election, grasped the process, responsibilities as well as their rights when participating in voting.
According to the Truong Son Commune Election Committee, the 3 early election sites in remote villages have a total of 252 voters, 100% of whom are Bru - Van Kieu ethnic minorities. Mr. Hoang Manh Ha, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Chairman of the Truong Son Commune Election Committee, thanks to careful preparation, people have high consensus, and the election process in remote villages takes place smoothly, safely and in accordance with regulations. The organization of early elections in remote villages of Truong Son commune not only ensures the rights of voters in border areas but also demonstrates the efforts of local authorities in overcoming difficulties in terrain and traffic to ensure that the festival of the whole people takes place fully.



3 polling stations in Truong Son commune (including polling station No. 13 in Doc May village, polling station No. 16 in Hoi Ray village and polling station No. 17 in Nuoc Dang village) were organized to vote for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term 7 days earlier than the national election day. The reason for early elections is that Doc May village has to walk through the forest for 6-9 hours to reach the center and Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages have to travel by motorboat for 2-3 hours to reach the center.
