On January 12, the People's Committee of Ea Rok commune (Dak Lak province) said that it had sent a notice to households about the slow payment of monthly social allowances due to not being fully allocated funds.
According to the People's Committee of Ea Rok commune, the total budget for social allowance payments in the last 6 months of 2025 of the locality is more than 8.9 billion VND.
However, to date, the commune has only been allocated more than 2.2 billion VND by the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, only enough to pay for July and August. The remaining funds to pay for the remaining 4 months of 2025 are more than 6.6 billion VND.
Ea Rok Commune People's Committee has sent 4 documents reporting and proposing to the Department of Finance and Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee requesting additional funding, but so far it has not been resolved.
Faced with the above situation, the People's Committee of Ea Rok commune has requested the self-management boards of villages and hamlets and Ea Rok Post Office to notify beneficiaries about the delay in social allowance payment from September to now, and will announce the specific payment schedule as soon as additional funding is provided.
Real-world records show that many households reflect that social allowances under Decree 20 and Decree 176 of the Government are being delayed for many months, causing difficulties in life.
Ms. Ma Thi Dua's family (26 years old, hamlet 15, Ea Rok commune) is raising a 4-year-old son with cerebral palsy. Previously, her family received a social allowance of 1 million VND/month to take care of her child. However, from September 2025 to now, this allowance has been stopped from being paid.
The late payment of the allowance for 4 months has made my family very difficult, while the cost of caring for disabled children is increasing," Ms. Dua shared.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
